Sustainable Investing Initiative

Calvert serves as one of the Leadership Sponsors of the MMI/Morningstar Sustainable Investing Initiative, a suite of educational resources that provides financial advisors with the knowledge they need to engage with clients on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Responsible Investing, and helps FAs incorporate Responsible Investing into their practices.

The curriculum, which Calvert helped develop, is based on 70 hours of interviews with subject matter experts and information from 180 unique sources. In addition to FAs, it contains information that would be helpful for product teams, due diligence staff, service team associates and anyone else who would benefit from a practical understanding of Responsible Investing and how it can be incorporated into traditional advisory approaches and practices.

After successful completion of MMI/Morningstar's eight-course curriculum, participants are eligible for CE credits toward the Investments & Wealth Institute CIMA®, CPWA®, CIMC® and RMA®; Fi360 AIF®, AIFA® and PPC®; and CFP® designations.
