Aditi Mohapatra
Senior Sustainability Analyst
As lead Corporate Governance and Business Ethics analyst, Aditi directs Calvert’s research, advocacy and policy work on these important issues. In this role, Aditi has led Calvert’s efforts to promote boardroom diversity including filing Calvert’s 50th board diversity resolution, successfully petitioning the Securities and Exchange Commission to enhance critical board diversity disclosures, and collaborating with a broad coalition of institutional and faith-based investors to advance the issue.
Aditi has also worked closely on other corporate diversity issues including promoting the implementation and adoption of the Calvert Women’s Principles®, the first global code of corporate conduct focused on empowering, advancing and investing in women worldwide, by a broad range of public and private entities. As part of these efforts, Aditi has participated in the Gender Equality Principles Initiative with the City of San Francisco’s Department on the Status of Women and Verité, in an effort to engage San Francisco area companies on advancing women within the workplace. She also jointly authored and developed the methodology and criteria for the report: Examining the Cracks in the Ceiling: A Survey of Corporate Diversity Practices in the Calvert Social Index, which examined the practices of 636 companies in the area of diversity and gender relations.
Further, Aditi’s experience includes engaging companies and policy makers on executive compensation, board independence, and privacy issues. Aditi participates in a number of multi-stakeholder initiatives aimed at advancing environmental, social, and governance objectives. Her research focuses on the information and communications technology sector. She earned an MBA in Finance from George Washington University and a BS in International Economics from the University of Florida.
